- An Arizona native, I grew up in the historic Encanto-Palmcroft neighborhood. . .but we have lived in lower Arcadia for 37 years.
- My extended family including two brothers, a sister, and cousins, were in the cattle and ranching business and I have watched Phoenix grow from a "small town" in the 50's to this huge metro area of three million people now. Wow. We don't have to go far for a family reunion with so many siblings, nieces, nephews, all around here!!
- My own family includes husband John. . . .. . twins Karli & Gena who are 32. . and son Douglas who is 29 years old. Karli is a pharmacist and she and husband Michael live in Chandler. . .Gena is married to Jason Stonehouse. . .Jason works at Harvard. . .Gena finished her M.A. in Public Administration and has found a job at Harvard using her skills in development and other projects. . .they live in Cambridge near Boston. . .Douglas is working and going to ASU.
- My education includes a B.A. in Education/Spanish from the U of A, and Master's Degree in Spanish from ASU. I studied in Mexico and in Spain.
- In the community, I use my Spanish and organizing skills first of all facilitating a Spanish-speaking church service at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Tempe. I also have the wonderful opportunity to be a translator and volunteer coordinator for our Cathedral Health Services free health screening clinics in cooperation with Interfaith Cooperative Ministries in south Phoenix. . .a positive chance to give back to my own hometown and my own city.
- My prior career was as a college professor of Spanish and English, in the Maricopa County Community College System for over 18 years.
- In my 20th year with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, I am an Executive Sales Associate, a member of the International Diamond Society, International Sterling Society and in the Mentor Program which assists new agents.
- As a relocation and neighborhood specialist, I work with buyers and sellers, providing total customer service.
- Being a native. .. and with 20 years of experience, I sell in all areas: Arcadia, East Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Glendale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tatum Ranch, even Sun City. . .have van, will travel!
- Arizona has been my lifetime home. . .and I am so happy to share my knowledge and memories with all of my clients.
